What Is RoWorld?
A Roblox port of OpenFront.io where 88 nations race to own 80% of the world.
RoWorld is a real-time territory conquest game on Roblox. You drop a capital, spread across a shared world map, and try to hold 80% of the land before anybody else does. It is free to play, it needs no Robux, and it is a direct Roblox port of the open-source browser strategy game OpenFront.io. This page explains what the game actually is, how a match runs, who publishes it, and whether it is worth your time.
The short version
RoWorld is not a tycoon, a simulator, or an idle clicker. Every action spends the same resource: troops. Every decision trades one front for another. The core loop is short — expand, defend, expand again — and the skill ceiling lives entirely in how you sequence it.
The official Roblox listing describes it in one line: real-time territory conquest, expand from a single nation, attack your neighbours, build cities, ports and factories, forge alliances and launch nukes against 88 player nations and hundreds of tribes, conquer 80% of the world to win.
That single sentence contains the whole game. You start with one nation. The map is shared with dozens of other nations and a layer of smaller tribes underneath. You win by owning 80% of the map, and you lose the moment somebody else does.
How a match works
Placement. At the start of a match you get a short deployment countdown. You place your capital on unclaimed land, and you can move it until the timer expires. Once the war banner appears, the capital locks and your territory grows outward from it. The nation list covers which starting positions are worth taking, and the controls guide walks through the deployment screen.
The protected window. New matches give you a few minutes where nobody can attack you. On solo runs the difficulty chips change that window — Relaxed gives five minutes, Standard three and Brutal two. On public matches the same protection exists but it is short enough that you should be building, not exploring.
Expansion. You claim land by sending troops into it. The ratio of attackers to defenders decides whether a push succeeds, and the expansion strategy guide explains when a calculated attack is still a mistake. Cities raise your troop cap, Factories and Ports turn land into gold, and the economy guide covers the whole build order.
Diplomacy and escalation. You can offer an alliance to a neighbour, which stops all combat along that shared border. You can also launch a nuke, which permanently damages the map. The alliances guide explains the 30-second traitor penalty that makes breaking a pact expensive, and the nukes guide covers blast radii and fallout.
The win condition. Reach 80% world control and the match ends in your favour. Note that land hit by fallout does not count toward that number, which is why a nuke can look like a win on screen and still leave you short of the target.
From RoFront to RoWorld
The game launched on 26 September 2026 under the name RoFront [World PvP]. On 25 and 26 October 2026 the experience was renamed to RoWorld [World PvP]. The place ID never changed — 137151641329864 — so this is the same game with a new label, not a re-release. Old RoFront links still redirect to the current listing.
The rename matters for two practical reasons. First, search results and community videos still use both names, so the patch notes track the change explicitly. Second, some older sites still describe the game with the RoFront name, which is a useful signal that a page was written before late October 2026 and may be out of date.
Built on OpenFront.io
The game credits its source in the listing itself: © OpenFront and Contributors, modified by Snick. OpenFront.io is an open-source, browser-based real-time strategy project released under the AGPL licence, itself derived from the earlier WarFront.io project. It is the same project family that the Roblox port is built from, which is why the mechanics in this wiki — alliance timers, attack ratios, nuke tiers, the 80% victory line — match the open-source rules exactly.
The browser project ships around 136 maps. The Roblox port ships eleven of them, and the map list names all eleven with the kind of match each one produces. The port also extends the original in ways the browser version does not have, notably the Arsenal of premium units and boosters, which the Arsenal tier list ranks.
Who publishes RoWorld
The experience is published by the Roblox group Torrey Pines, and the listing was created on 26 September 2026. The game carries no price tag, which means it is completely free to enter and to play — spending Robux buys optional cosmetics rather than any competitive advantage.
By late October 2026 the game had passed 71.7 million visits and roughly 75,300 favourites, and it regularly runs more than 18,000 concurrent players. Growth that fast is the reason there are so many fake code lists, fake Trello boards and fake script pages on the internet; the codes page and the official links page explain which sources are real.
Is it worth playing?
RoWorld suits you if you enjoy short-session competitive strategy, if you are comfortable with a single resource that every action competes for, and if you want a Roblox game with actual mechanics underneath rather than a progression loop with a win button.
It suits you less if you want a relaxed building game, a story, or a team mode where nobody can attack you. Every match is adversarial by default.
Start with the beginner guide, learn the controls and HUD, and then read the guides hub for the full strategy set. If you want to check a build cost or blast radius for your own match instead of trusting a page written last week, the territory calculator handles that.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the questions RoWorld players ask most.
What is RoWorld on Roblox?
RoWorld is a free real-time territory conquest game. You start with one nation, expand across a shared world map, build cities, ports and factories, ally or betray your neighbours, and try to control 80% of the map before anybody else does.
Is RoWorld free to play?
Yes. The Roblox listing carries no price tag, so entering and playing the game costs nothing. Any Robux spending buys optional cosmetics rather than an advantage in a match.
Is RoWorld the same game as RoFront?
Yes. It launched as RoFront [World PvP] on 26 September 2026 and was renamed to RoWorld [World PvP] on 25–26 October 2026. The place ID 137151641329864 never changed, so the old links still point to the same game.
Who made RoWorld?
The experience is published by the Roblox group Torrey Pines, and the listing credits the open-source project OpenFront and its contributors, with a modification note from Snick.
How do you win in RoWorld?
You win by controlling 80% of the world map. Land covered in nuclear fallout does not count toward that total, which is the trap most players fall into. The expansion strategy guide covers how to reach the threshold.
